Jeff Novich, Caitlin Costin and Mark O'Brien from the
Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism recently completed
a documentary,
Winds of Change, for their masters project. The documentary
takes and honest look into the history of electricity, the 2003
blackout, and some large wind farms in the Northeast, especially New
York.

Wind Energy at Spirit Lake
Elementary School
This
video features the wind energy installation story of the Spirit Lake
Elementary School in Iowa. The school designed a wind energy project
that led to the installation of a large scale wind turbine at the
school in 1993. The wind turbine has been used in the school's
classes as an educational tool and it has made a significant
