KidWind is a leader in working with educators to integrate wind energy into their classrooms. KidWind has held more than 50 training events in the last three years for more than 2000 teachers all over the US and Canada. We also have a variety of experience developing and staging hands-on events for students related to wind energy and other renewables.
Our teacher training and outreach programs are sponsored by leading public and private wind energy organizations, such as the American Wind Energy Association, DMI, Florida Power & Light Energy (FPL), LM Glasfiber, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the New York State Research Energy Development Authority (NYSERDA).
